Bracket 2015 MASTER_Final Four

CLICK THE IMAGE ABOVE FOR A LARGER VIEW. (UPDATED 3/22)

It’s that time of the year – BRACKET TIME! What better way to celebrate “March Madness” than with some of the most celebrated ships in naval history! We will be posting this bracket on the dates shown above for you to vote on our FACEBOOK page. You may also vote for your favorite planes on our TUMBLR page and TWITTER page.  If you would like to start a conversation, don’t forget to use the hashtag #NHFSINKORSWIM2015.

We are expanding on the success of ships last year. This year, our focus is naval aviation! Naval aviation planes are divided into four regional time periods of naval history: Early naval aviation, World War II, Cold Warriors, and the Modern Era.  Brackets will be posted on our social media sites on the following dates for voting:

OPENING ROUND:

  • Early Naval Aviation (REGION ONE) – 3/16 COMPLETE
  • World War II (REGION TWO) – 3/16 COMPLETE
  • Cold Warriors (REGION THREE) – 3/17 COMPLETE
  • Modern Era (REGION FOUR) – 3/17 COMPLETE

SECOND ROUND:

  • REGION THREE Winner VS. REGION FOUR Winner – 3/31

FINALS:

  • Final Game: 4/6

The numbers next to the ship names indicate their seed from their time period (just like the basketball tourney). Vote for as many ships as you like – voting ends at midnight on the same day. If there are no votes for either matched ship, the higher seed will move on. Game on!

We will be posting the results regularly on this page, which will be updated on a daily basis.
