“Seas, Lakes & Bay: The Naval War Of 1812” brings together two prestigious
collections of art, artifacts and ship models from the private collection of
Mr. William I. Koch and the public collection of The Naval Academy Museum.
From the USS Constitution’s sea anchor to the actual carved wooden figureheads
from the USS Chesapeake and the HMS Shannon, these works of art and artifacts
combine to tell the stories and history of the War of 1812. The exhibit is open for
a limited time. More information can be found at usna.edu/War1812/Exhibit.
