Joint Service Make a Difference Day: Honor Flight at the World War II Memorial

Volunteers are needed for the Joint Service Make a Difference Day Honor Flight that is scheduled for 20 Oct 2012 at the World War II Memorial in Washington DC. This is the largest honor flight that is scheduled for this year and which will include WW II veterans from Georgia, Ohio, Florida, New York, and Arkansas. Volunteers will assist to load/ reload wheelchairs, take pictures with and for the veterans, take strolls with the veterans to the memorial and listen to history as it is told by the veterans as they walk down memory lane. This is a great venue for scouts, sea cadets, students of American history. For more information contact:
