Navy Museum LogoDesigning a building to scale: In January, students will discover what it takes to design a building and the interior space to scale. After making their own ruler, students will be challenged to design their own museum blueprint using the correct scale.

Bridge Testing: For those who made balsa wood bridges at our December program, bridges will be load tested during January’s home school program.

Please Note:  Navy Museum staff is no longer able to accept RSVP’s for Home School at the Museum during the week of the event. Please ensure reservations for your students have been made no later than the week before the program begins each month. All home school families without military ID or base decals on their cars should use the 11th and O St. SE gate to enter the Washington Navy Yard. Driving directions and maps of the Navy Yard are available at: http://www.history.navy.mil/visitNMUSN
