Turning Point in the Pacific:70th Anniversary – Battle of Midway Island
Honolulu, Ford Island and Midway
Sponsored by: “The Pacific Aviation Museum” Pearl Harbor
Hosts: ADM Ron Hays, USN and LtGen “Hank” Stackpole USMC
Midway Island – a battle that will forever be remembered as the “Turning Point in the Pacific” during World War II. The battle of Midway followed six months of staggering reversals, after Pearl Harbor. Following this ferocious Naval battle, between the American and Japanese fleets, Japan would never again experience a major victory over US Forces.
The Pacific Aviation Museum and Military Historical Tours (MHT) partner once again in offering another in their series of historical anniversary tours to the battlefields of the world. This will also include military historical tours of Honolulu, as well as the 70th anniversary symposium in the Museum.
You can view this Historic Tour at: www.miltours.com or call for a brochure at 800-722-9501 or 703-590-1295.
