Fall for the Book at GMU: John Barry – Naval Hero

Tim McGrath has written the definitive biography about the life of Commodore John Barry. A hero of the Revolutionary War, Barry is regarded as one of the founders of the United States Navy. Several US Navy destroyers have been named for him, to include an Arleigh Burke Class destroyer and the former destroyer on display at the Washington Navy Yard.
