Ewa Battlefield Commemoration

December 6, 2015 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Location: Ewa Field, across from Hawaiian Railway Museum and Pride Baseball Field, West Oahu. Join members of the local community and veterans for the Eighth Annual Observance of the Imperial Japanese Navy attack on Ewa Mooring Mast Field that was defended by the U.S. Marines. The Ewa Battlefield Commemoration beginning at 10 AM will also feature music, military color guard, rifle salute and taps. Attendance from many major Hawaii veterans and military cadet organizations, Civil Air Patrol, Sea Cadet Corps, NG Youth Challenge Academy and Kapolei HS Marine Corps JROTC. Aircraft flyover by US Coast Guard, Barbers Point. Classic vintage WW-II military vehicles and reenactors in authentic 1940’s uniforms will be available for photos.
