Battleship North Carolina: Battleship 101

2nd Saturdays Programs: Battleship 101

Battleship 101 visitors engage with ship volunteers stationed throughout the ship as they create dialogue on specific subjects relative to daily shipboard life including gunnery, radar, sickbay, galley and engineering areas. A unique opportunity to talk one on one of what life was like aboard a WWII Battleship in the time of combat. Free with paid admission.

The 2nd Saturdays programs are a statewide effort of historic sites under the Department of Cultural Resources to combine arts and heritage with food and fun on June 9, July 14, and August 11 at all 37 museums and Historic Sites.
