Battleship North Carolina: Azalea Coast Amateur Radio Club

June 2, 2012 - June 3, 2012

The Azalea Coast Amateur Radio Club will operate on board the Battleship North Carolina as one of 63 ships participating worldwide in Museum Ship’s Weekend.  On this annual event, HAM radio operators will communicate and transmit via voice using the Ship’s original radio equipment. Visitors will be to interact and see as part of the tour how one type of communication was used during World War II as well as is still is today.  Free with Battleship admission.
