50th Anniversary of the Cuban Missile Crisis at Battleship Cove

Learn about the vital role the destroyer USS Joseph P. Kennedy Jr. played in this significant moment in world history.  Events held throughout the day will include showing the movie “Thirteen Days”, Open House on USS Joseph P. Kennedy Jr. destroyer, and 50th Anniversary Commemoration Service.  A schedule of the day’s events will be available on their website, www.battleshipcove.org.  Events are free with paid admission.
