325th Fighter Group 2012 Reunion

Checkertail 2012 ReunionThe 325th Fighter Group has a unique association with the Navy and naval aviation, having sailed on-board USS Ranger, CV-4 on its way to North Africa in January, 1943. The 325th, also known as the Checkertail Clan (a name given by Axis Sally), will be holding its 67th annual reunion 15-19 August, 2012, in Thousand Oaks, CA. It will coincide with the Wings Over Camarillo air show.  A British documentary can be downloaded at www.checkertails.org. It includes footage of Army P-40 Warhawks flying off the Ranger and pilot interviews.
