There are many ways in which you can contribute or donate to help us accomplish our mission of preserving and promoting U.S. naval history. Donor Privacy Policy The Naval Historical Foundation respects the privacy of its members and donors and safeguards member and donor contact information and giving history. The Foundation maintains its member and donor information for internal purposes only and does not sell its member or donor lists to any outside organization. The Foundation may occasionally share its member or donor lists with similar organizations with mutual interests in naval history, but will do so only with explicit approval of the Board of Directors. To publicly recognize and thank donors for their generosity, the Foundation may print a list of donors’ names in internal publications and our regular newsletter, Pull Together. Addresses and other contact information will not be included in such listings. In such cases, other organizations and individuals would have access to our donors’ names. Any donor may notify the Foundation if he or she chooses not to be included in such listings. Support the Navy Museum’s Cold War Gallery Project! The National Museum of the United States Navy is adding 20,000 sq. feet of exhibit space to honor those who served in the Navy during the Cold War and educate future generations about how sea power helped America triumph over the Soviet Union. Regular Donations These donations can either be made online through our web site by clicking on the below link, by phone with a major credit card, or by mail. Upon receipt of your donation, we will send you a thank you and acknowledgment letter. Please Note: We use a nonprofit service to process our credit card transactions. GIVEDIRECT is the name that will appear on your credit card statement - not Naval Historical Foundation. Using a 3rd party helps us keep our costs low and allows us to spend more time and money on our programs!
Donations "In Honor Of" or "In Memory Of" These donations permit you to recognize someone special in your life. Donations of this type should be made via mail or phone. Upon receipt of the donation you will receive a thank you letter as the donor, and we will be pleased to send a letter directly to the family of the individual being recognized, or the individual if still living (you must provide name and address) acknowledging the donation made in his or her honor or memory. |
