Foundation celebrates Navy birthday by launching redesigned web site

As the U.S. Navy celebrates its 228th birthday in October, 2003, the Naval Historical Foundation launches a complete redesign of its website. Formatted to make naval history information more accessible to Sailors and the American public, the new site contains information on research, historic photos and donating artifacts, as well as highlighting the unique products featured in the Navy Museum Gift Shop. The new web site look is due to the hard work of Foundation life member and volunteer Nick Kuriger, a Navy veteran and Information Technology manager at a prestigious Washington, DC law firm.
