The 2012 Naval Historical Foundation “The Navy” calendar is now available for purchase. It features artwork covering 237 years of Navy and Marine Corps action. The calendar is a tribute to the men and women who have fought to protect our nation, to deter aggression, and to maintain freedom of the seas. It also lists significant events in naval history each month.
Your 2012 calendar can be purchased in person at the Museum Store at the National Museum of the United States Navy, in Washington, DC, or by calling the Museum Store at 202-889-2212. Are Prints of the calendar pictures in high quality framable configuration, paper, etc., available? I’d like a print of Navy Art Collection item 88-163-RP, the USS Esteem, as I was the C.O. from August 1972-August 1974.
